Departmental Leadership
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology functions as an Academic Department of Wayne State University School of Medicine with clinical programs at various locations throughout the Detroit metropolitan area. Divisions include Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Medical Education, Nurse Midwifery, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and the C.S. Mott Center for Human Growth and Development.
The Department is composed of 24 full-time clinical faculty lead by the Interim Chair, Elizabeth E. Puscheck, M.D., M.S., CCD, FACOG. Additionally, there are 17 midwifery staff and 46 research staff plus 85 other clinical, administrative and support staff.
