We are delighted to welcome Dr. Ghadear Shukr as our newest faculty member.

Dr. Shukr completed her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University and completed her Focused Practice Designation in MIGS in 2024. She joins us from the University of South Florida, where she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her clinical expertise includes advanced laparoscopy, AUB, fibroids, endometriosis, and menopause management. Dr. Shukr is also committed to medical education, having received teaching excellence awards and actively mentored residents and medical students.

She has also agreed to take on the role of Associate Program Director with a focus on creating, implementing, and maintaining a competency-based surgical curriculum.
