Wayne State University is a growing leader in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. For a long time the university has been a leader in hysteroscopy and now is providing many minimally invasive options for women with complex disease and issues. We treat a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to, endometriosis, fibroids (myomectomy or hysterectomy or radio frequency ablation), abnormal bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain, tubal reversal surgery, ovarian surgery, cervical incompetence, congenital anomalies, and more. We offer fellowship trained surgeons with experience and expertise in a wide variety of surgical options that for years haven’t been offered in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. We participate in clinical trials of innovative treatments methods like radiofrequency ablation of fibroids and make them available to patients as soon as possible.
