Biography

Dr. Bryant graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio with departmental honors in biological sciences, and from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1991. After completing subspecialty medical training in 1997, he was an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Ohio, a senior staff physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and Director of Obstetrics at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has received faculty excellence and teaching awards at each hospital he has served at. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He serves on several OB/GYN departmental committees and is the Chief of Obstetrics at Hutzel Women's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. His clinical activities cover the breadth of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His main clinical interests include labor and delivery care of both normal and high-risk pregnancies, twin pregnancies, operative vaginal delivery, and the clinical care of maternal medical conditions. He focuses especially on diabetes mellitus and substance use disorders. He enjoys teaching residents and fellows in the clinical setting.
